How is it that I can be so excited for summer and so exhausted in May, but then by the middle of July I can’t stop thinking about my incoming Kinders? The teacher struggle is real!!! One of my favorite things to teach is math. I am a huge believer in taking your time with math; truly helping our little learners explore math with hands on learning and problem solving. ( If you previously missed my math manipulative centers click here to check them out)
In Colorado we focus a lot on number sense, shapes, money and time. So without further adieu, I have a big upload of products for you this week all focused around math in your classroom!
My Numbers Fun resource covers numbers 1-10 with activities, game, printables and classroom posters that provide a fun and engaging way to introduce or review numbers.
These Shape and Pattern Block resources teach your students about each shape and help them explore different characteristics like number of sides and corners. It exposes them to shape vocabulary and allows for hands-on exploration too!
My Money resource comes with great anchor chart posters identifying each coin, practice pages and an adorable piggy bank matching game.
Lastly, my Time resources teacher telling time to the hour and half hour. It has really cute anchor chart posters for digital and analog clocks, as well as practice pages and a “Race Against Time” game!
I hope you enjoy all of these new uploaded resources and I would love to hear fun ways you teach Math in your classroom. Next week we will be celebrating Christmas In July so head on back on Friday!
