I have a big upload for you today of Literacy Resources! I love teaching Writing to my Kindergarteners and I am excited to share with you all of the resources I use to implement Writer’s Workshop into my classroom. My kindies and I write everyday, so early on in the year I teach them the writing process that we use.
This resource provides the 8 steps to a successful writing process that can be used in a Writer’s Workshop format. I love displaying the anchor charts and process cards around the classroom to help instruction too. Once implemented in your classroom, you will be amazed at your wonderful little writers!
My other Writer’s Workshop resources include “Writer’s Word Book” “Writer’s Workshop Writing Resources” and “Writer’s Workshop Brainstorming Ideas”. I hope you find all of this as useful in your classroom as I do.
My “Writing Prompts, Pages and Vocab Card” resources bring a little seasonal fun to Writer’s Workshop, so make sure to check those out.
Your students will “scream for ice cream” with my short vowel sound/ word family resources. Each packet includes anchor charts, word builders, rhyming, and word family practice. They are a huge hit with my kinders and great for morning work or take home folders.
Lastly, I included my resource packets for teaching -R and -L blends. Each of these packets include a blend classroom poster, coloring page, word list, word find, reading passage and handwriting practice!
Let me know in the comments what you download and what other type of resources you are looking for :0) Next week, is another big upload with all of my “Rock Star Sight Word” resources. To read about how I teach sight words in my classroom click here.
