Puffy Paint Snow!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Whether you need an activity to fill some time before Christmas Break or you are already thinking ahead to January this hands-on art project is simple, easy and fun!

All you need is shaving cream, glue and glitter.  Mix 3/4 shaving cream with 1/4 glue in a bowl.  Add some glitter and you are ready to go.  Yes, it is that simple!  I used fine silver glitter and coarse white glitter to give it a little more sparkle!

I had my kiddos make their own snowflake shapes on different shades of blue paper and then we hung them on a bulletin board.   You could also decorate pre-cut snowflakes or make a winter picture.

The “puffy paint” will dry raised and shimmery, so cute!

Happy Teaching!
